Set your stand
Pick your categories, your service area (one county, three counties, all 26 — your call), your machinery, your day rate, your insurance proofs. Once your stand is set, customers can find you.

Get matched to jobs
A customer posts a job in your area + category. We surface their job to you in real time. You see the brief, the photos, the budget, the urgency. You decide whether to quote.

Send a quote
Quote with a fixed price, an hourly rate, or a "first hour free, see if it's worth it" feeler. The customer compares your quote to others. If they pick you, the money goes into Tradee escrow.

Do the job
Mark "en-route" when you set off. "Arrived" when you're on site. "Started" when you start. Update the customer with photos as you go. They see progress in real time. No "where are you?" texts.

Get paid in 1-3 days
Mark the job complete. The customer signs it off. Tradee releases the money minus our 10 % platform fee. Funds land in your bank inside 1-3 working days. No invoicing, no chasing.
What you keep
90 % of every job. Always.

Real questions, plain answers.
How long does verification take?
Most applications: 48 hours. Heavily-credentialled trades (gas, electrical, farm with TAMS): up to 5 working days while we verify against the relevant Irish register.
Do I have to take every job?
No. You quote on jobs you want. Skip jobs you don't. We rank tradees who quote consistently slightly higher in customer search results — but skipping doesn't hurt your standing.
What if a customer disputes the work?
Disputes go to Tradee's mediation flow. We look at the photos, the chat history, the credentials. We resolve fairly. Tradee covers the dispute admin — you don't pay extra.
When does the money hit my bank?
Customer signs off → Tradee releases → 1-3 working days to your bank. SEPA transfers; faster payments coming for IE/UK in 2026.
Can I work on multiple jobs at once?
Yes. The dispatcher view shows you every active job. Most tradees run 3-5 active jobs in different stages.
What about insurance?
You need at minimum: Public Liability €6.5m. We verify your insurance certificate at sign-up and remind you 30 days before it expires. We don't sell insurance — but our affiliate partners do, with a discount for Tradee tradees.
